New filter then. Set ya own suspension. There is tns of info about the black art of rebound, sag, compression etc. Find a nice bit of road with bends, bumps, overbanding etc take a pen n paper, wind settings for comp. damping front right off, ride, make notes, put back, do for rear, etc etc. This will give you an idea how the bike reacts to different settings. Might take hours but it's good for your own understanding of suspenders and your machine.

personally id get your suspension done by a professional.

best 50 - 100 quid you'll ever spend, and in my experience, anyone who has "tweaked their own" and are not professionals simply end up tying themselves and the bike in knots. my pals k5 was a complete dog to ride when he was playing with it, got it done by a pro and was lovely. i couldnt beleive the difference.

whenever i've had mine done, he gives you the standard, and his settings on a print out so it gives you a base point of what you can play with, but always go back to what is correct if you fcuk it up.

imo it's a mine field, with so much to factor in, least if you get it done right (it makes such a diff from stock) you wont regret it, and as said you then have a base to go back to if you do have a play. although my bet is you wont touch it again as you'll be happy with the results.

Get the bike over to Reactive Suspension and get a setup done. Best money I've ever spent on a bike. Hands down. Only takes half an hour and transforms the ride and handling.

Hurry up though because if you leave it much longer he'll be busy re-valving and changing the springs in my front forks :D

£50 doesnt get you much these days, but i'll be spending my money on suspension setup with the Grantham guys on Saturday. And i already have a full tank, so the remaining £20 may be spent on entry to MCN Live at Butlins Skegness later that day :-D
