We ve had many posts regarding these products from these boys LED Tail Lights Integrated Sequential CBR-600RR CBR-1000RR CBR-250R F4 F4i Rucku - Motodynamic.com But has anyone else had any problems as mine has decided to play up ? (Half the leds on the left not working)......bought just about this time last year ??
My indicators stoped working all together, not sure if a motodynamics issue or fuse yet though so will let you know
Well i ve emailed them....... expected them to last longer than one year.....................bike has hardly been used since last yrs IOM !
Had mine since nov but I have only ridden twice I have been emailing for advice all week and they are very fast to reply on weekdays as was getting replays within 30 mins which was very impressive, they only come with a 90 day warrantee but they have offered for me to send the light back for repair
Your probably right but it's always a risk buying something like this from states.... Lets see what happens
Rob they told me a way to reset the light mines an RR5 but I presume resetting will be the same, did you want me to post directions here mate?
Presuming the same as the 05, to be honest cant see the electrics being much difference. Here you go- Locate the tiny rubber plug on the back of the housing and remove it to reveal push button beneath Turn on the ignition but don't start the engine Use a small pin and press the button 4 times really fast (make sure to hear the click with each press) You will see the tail light turn off and then back on again You have just reset the turn signals
Thx Martin will have a look......can you see the plug when the light is on the bike ? it seems that its the red leds that have stopped working (just the left hand side).....indicators seem ok untill you put hazards on then all seem to flash odd pattern..... ?
Just a note on similar items to these I have had two sets on different bikes and on mine a very small transistor managed to rattle off and caused a similar problem .These are the very small coloured barrel shaped things which you find soldered to radios ect when you take the light off the bike you can hear it rattling about the only cure for the ones I had and this is assuming you can split the lense and back apart is to re solder and then cover in special circuit panel glue to keep all the bits stuck together .This info may not help you but its a scenario which happens.
That's really weird, bought mine April last year, right hand top section just packed. Anyways, I e-mailed Motodynamic about this and they are repairing my unit FOC, just costing me £8.63 to send the the unit back to them, they're gonna fix it then send it back.
