New bike

    Hi gents.
    Well I picked up my new bike today.
    I was looking for an SV1000S as new as possible with low miles.
    This bike stopped being made in 2006/7 but you can find the odd one that wasn't registered until later.
    I have purchased a 2008 with 2000 miles on it.
    One owner from new and it looks like new.
    Totally standard, but I am sure I can rectify that.

    Top result, Steve. A friend has one and it sounds like armageddon itself with Blue Flame exhausts.

    What's happening with the rc8, shipmate?

    Enjoy the new bike mate , had an SV650 about 10 years ago , it was very wheelie prone , thats if you give it some lol

    I ordered a few mods for the SV today....
    Apair of black 300mm long exhausts.
    Tail tidy
    Seat cowl
    Flush front led indicators
    Triboseat cover for the Mrs.
    Well, you have to start somewhere.
    Also, I contacted BS Motoparts for the fitting kit for my Constands power lift.
    I was amazed when they replied saying they were not making the lift anymore.
    They say they will make it again from August????
    No matter, I designed the necessary pins last night and made then at work today.
    The bike is now sat proudly up in the air!

    Flash car, flash bike.. Bet your Mrs Betts is a stunner and you have a la de da downstairs loo as well .... Jealousy is a horrible trait ;)

    I wouldn't call the SV a flash bike, but its just the job for me.
    I think Mrs B is a stunner and we have 3 bathrooms! Lol

    I like the SV had a go on my mates a few years back its a right laugh :)
