Whilst musing on the http://1000rr.co.uk/pictures-videos/1408.htm thread, it occurred to me to ask what cars everyone has had/drives

    I'll go first. In order.

Passed my driving test in 1996

1986 Rover 216 Van den Plas
    1987 Vauxhall Astra GSI (8v)
1992 Vauxhall Nova GSI - Still my favourite for some reason????
    1987 BMW 320i Coupe
    2000 Lexus IS200 (Company Car)
    2001 BMW 318i (Company Car)
1996 Vauxhall Astra GSI (8v) Convertible
    1996 Nissan 2000SX
    1994 VW Golf GTI (16v)
    1998 Peugeot 307 TDI
    2001 Rover 214i
2008 VW Passat TDI Estate (Company Car)
    2008 Saab 93 Aero Sportwagon

    Not a particularly illustrious collection!

Cool collection. Longest I've had a car for is about 2 years & 4 months I think (that was the Passat). Now I'm a little older & wiser, they'll be kept much longer (although I do quite fancy a 330 or 530d M Sport next....)

My boss is a Golf nut. He's had two Edition 30 GTi's. The first one got dinged and when it went in to be fixed they found that the paint was uneven over the whole of the car so they gave him a new one. It was hard enough to get the first one, I think there were 1500 available for the UK.

Can't argue with that kind of back up.

That I would agree with. The dealer network is bloody useless, but once stuff gets referred to VAG it gets very German, very quickly.

Blimey, Jamie. When do you get time to ride your bike?

Hey, Matt. How are you finding that S Max. I've heard they're surprisingly quick. We're thinking about something at work that can double as a van and as we're all a bit petrol headed, the S Max came up.
