I've got a bullet camera that I will be mounting to my helmet and bike with suction pads/mount.

The retailer strongly recommends that the camera and mount is secured by way of a tether and as a result, I've bought a tether from them. It's very much like a luggage strap.

I wondered about the best way to tether these cameras etc and thought I'd ask for other's experiences - I know some of you have filmed your own rides with GoPros etc....

If you're going to mount the camera on the bike, I do it somewhere not too obvious. If the good old Five-O pull you over, they can seize it if they decide 'it may contain evidence of a crime', and then you'll be straight up in front of the beak if you've been up to any comedy antics.

Also be careful where you post the footage etc.

Thanks for the advice Vino, but don't worry - that won't be a problem.

Dogcam Sports supplied a suction mount with my bullet cam and no additional tethering is required mate, been well and truly tested.

Cool - mine was from Dogcam as well, so first hand experience is good to hear of :)
