You mainly have motorway or main national roads in there, id advise doin the east coast like this and head over the wicklow gap https://maps.google.ie/maps?saddr=Dublin+Port,+Dublin&daddr=Blessington+to:Laragh+to:Arklow+to:gorey+to:Enniscorthy+to:New+Ross+to:Waterford&hl=en&ll=52.83264,-6.646729&spn=1.503332,3.911133&sll=52.63973,-7.207031&sspn=1.509999,3.911133&geocode=FaQSLgMdmSyh_ylbvVKQBA9nSDGQV-o3qccAGA%3BFfpNKwMdS0yc_ynJ55BuIJ1nSDFA1TGXqccACg%3BFSHaKAMd6dyf_ymtDgXVgb1nSDHwzTGXqccACg%3BFf2gJQMdxwGi_ymNxcNU5MNnSDHA0DGXqccACg%3BFZfEIwMd4vSf_yll-pXAT-ZnSDEABjKXqccACg%3BFbUeIQMdDs-b_yk_Xwm1gABoSDEwkTGXqccACg%3BFayAHwMdiv6V_ylfTVVBurZCSDFwHjKXqccACg%3BFW5OHQMdWj-T_ylN5NljnMZCSDH7uWeLiIG7xQ&oq=waterford&t=h&mra=ls&z=8
To many motorway miles Sinewave and your back tyre will have the same profile as the cruise control device
here you go.marked all the best points of interest and areas worth staying over at.motorway speeds are km as you know so 75 on the motorways but most sit around 85 but just look out for the very odd gatso, also bring money for the toll's on the motorways.you get stung when leaving dublin docks so thats why when I return from france I come into rosslare instead. longest drive is about three hours allowing for fuel stops but thats the only one big run to do and it flys in. https://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?m...ll=53.618579,-7.635498&spn=3.890754,12.568359
am watching this with interest as i am the same as you my thumb aches after a while.where did you get it from?
You probably know this, Sine. Don't put dates and destinations together on a public forum. Thieving scum look at these forums too... I know you haven't told us when you're off, shipmate. Just in case you were going to.
Iv been to kilarney many times, love the place, but the map u put up is all motorway from dublin to cork and galway to dublin, id take my route from dublin to waterford thrn head to kerry and follow ur route and depending on how long I hsd left either take the direct route from galway to dublin or nip off to a few towns, Nothin worse than being stuck on s motorway for 2 long , especially on 2 wheels
Iv also been tryin to organise a spin up to joeys bar and the giants causway the last few years but it hasnt happened yet
I done motorways as tge quickest your out of dublin an cork the better. Plus he wont have a clue what the cork guys are saying lol. If you do come north drop me a pm for a meet up or even catch Up for a pint down at killilane/skerries
