Well, all I can do is echo what Jaime has already said.

I went for a little ride and this is amazing! :becky:

Even on part throttle above 4000rpm it is faultless.

Rich, pm me if you wanna take a look at the quickshifter.

On Jamie's recommendation I contacted Arthur also. Ordered my HM QS from him Thursday, delivered today (Saturday). So, another big thumbs up for Arthurbikemad. Cheers mate.

Guys I must admit I'm curious about the HM plus quick shifter, how much is Arthur selling them for? Can he get them for anyone or is it just mates? Can I just PM him or will he think I'm taking the Mickey.

It was quite a lot of work to fit the whole kit mainly as you need to:

    1. Remove the tank cover
    2. Remove the fuel tank (to make life easier),
    3. Remove the ECU pack and looms from the air filter box
    4. Remove the air filter cover
    5. Remove the air filter
    6. Disconect the upper fuel rail
    7. Remove the lower part of the air filter cover
    8. lift back the rubber heat guard covering the spark plug coils

Do you need to de-pressure the fuel line when disconnecting the fuel rail?

    Thanks!

No just unplug the fuel line at tank and a bit will leak out but only a bit ;) it will re pressurise itself once back together so no bleeding etc

I am running std 60ms 55 sensitivity at the moment but getting Gilles VCR rearsets very soon and think the settings were much the same :)

Most of the work is just to access the coils tops :(

If you are reasonably confident 3 hours tops .. With obligatory tea breaks :)

I found it difficult to remove/reattach the connectors on the coils. The rubber matt is fixed in a place which requires more dismantling to remove it; I just stretched it back in the end. A good tip is to turn the coils so that the connectors are facing rearward & easier to get at, but you may need to raise them a little in order to turn them. Either way, I found it bloody fiddly!

On another note, I had to set the sensitivity to 85, but I have R & G rearsets. Anything lower & I was engaging the gear before the ignition was cut.

My write up was for 2010 bike the 2012/13 is a bit more of a pain as the airtubes hold down the rubber cover, like you I pulled it back to access the plugs :)
