Will meet Givover at lymm services then at 10.59am looking forward to it just wish work would stop getting so busy while I am away, as I am having a nightmare making sure I have enough drivers while I am away .
Same for me Jason, got someone's roof off and really need to get it tiled back in before I go........if only to get paid so I can fund the trip!
That old Chestnut i know you roofing types (Dont forget that big stash of lead in the shed) That would get you to Australia and back!
i will also meet u all at j33 m6 ill be there for 11 oclock saves me going down the m6 to come back up again
Dont get there at 11 Dude as i am not leaving Lymm with the pearly kings until 11.Grab your self a pie and get there about 25 past .
Not really anywhere to stop when you come off the motorway so if you bear left on the slip road you'll come to a roundabout. Turn left back down the A6 and take the second left into Wham Lane, As you turn there's room for parking and meeting up. I'll be there from 11.15am.
Shall we not all just meet at this place then? Seems silly us riding all the way to Lymm services, potentially having half hour pit stop then riding 20 mins (from what I can gather) up the road to pick the others up? As long as we can grab a cupper and use a bog we can stop anywhere so I'm not fussed really. Just doesn't seem best use of time to stop twice so close together when we can all meet and depart from one place??
I think Steve was just thinking along the lines of somewhere off the motorway just to collect as a group, as I see it? No longer than waiting for a set of traffic lights, You'll all be together coming off the motorway? then steve will take the group over to devils bridge which I belive is first stop for a brew and a squirt, to try and stop down on time sitting around, we can quite easily do the greet and meet shit there, rather than every other lamp post. If you guys can adjust the times to fit in a break at Lymm before coming up all the better, just thinking its going to be a long enough day for Jimbo and DaveV as it is. If all else fails? Perhaps make Forton services northbound the main meeting and leaving point? Theres not as many lamp posts there
Only the one that says there will be a front of Fireblades heading towards the north. Bringing joy and happiness to,their owners.
I'm not even going to speculate Colin. I did have a cheeky look, but I'm not about to share my findings. On a plus note. It only ever rains on my days off, as this trips booked on leave, and I'm supposed to be in work. It's looking favourable
Couldn't have put it better myself Gary! As you say, this is part of the route anyway. No need to stop, just to check everyone has turned up and then on to Devil's Bridge for a cuppa.
Sorry for diving in mate, I never know if anyone's taken your ladder away and you can't get down until you've finished the job
it is approaching. looking forward to it, blade run in over a very bleak winter but Radiator guard fitted. What about the Scottish lads are we meeting up at the services, have i missed this. I know Trev was talking about the Cove but was it decided, the services would make more sense. Have I missed a meeting
