The Pc5 has the same functionality as the pc3 they both alter the fuel ratio for the primary injectors only the bazzaz has ability to alter secondary fuel injectors out the box. The newer pc5 can deal with the secondary fuel injector but another fuel module is required to do so.

Both the pc3+5 both utilise exactly the same connections earth to battery, four lower injectors(primary) and the tps connection loop.

In my head only the values around the missing 15% throttle should be different on a pc3 map in order to get the best mixture through that throttle position the rest like 30% up to 100% would be identicle.:)

I do apologise phantom, went n looked at install sheets on dynojet site you are correct only injectors 1&4 that's connected but pc5 also hooks into the throttle bodies (large 8 miby 10 pin it looks like) not sure what electronics it's picking up feeds from in there.

Been a few years since we fitted a pc5 to ColinBr's 2010, think I was also getting muddled up with my Suzuki's pc5 as its as I described above.

Just an update for those who are interested. This is the reply I got back from Dynojet Uk

"I am unsure as to why the maps differ as the map conversions and numbering is not done by ourselves here. However, typically if the maps are derived from the same file they would have the same last three digits when transferred from a PC3 to a PCV."

Based on that information it might explain why map M16-002-502 and map M132-508 are different even though they are both for Leo Vince Slip on with stock or aftermarket filter and o2 elimnator.

Because I was now confused that 2 different maps existed for my configuration I asked which was correct M16-002-502 or M132-508 and got this reply from Dynojet UK.

"The map file I have sent you are correct. I wrote these two map files here and the values in the tables are identical to my files."

NOTE- the reason he refers to two maps is he also sent me M132-507 which is for the bafffled fitted in the Leo Vince Slip on.

So just to be clear the map I was sent from Dynojet UK is M132-508 therefore as far Dynojet UK are concerned this is the correct map for the 08 Blade with Leo Vince Slip on. My guess and its only a guess is the map for the PCV ending 502 is for the US model bike which has different ECU and fueling as stock.

Hope the update is useful and makes the siutation a little clearer.

Yeah your right Si I know but the map I have is confirmed for my set up and was done by Richard at Dynojet personally and he has given me this map so I m happy.

To quote Dynojet my bike is perhaps 85-90% optimised with the current map where as with a custom map it would be 95-100% optimised.
