May Bank Holiday

The first spring/summer bank holiday is coming up, what’s going on, ride outs meets etc. I’m going to spend the day on my bike but have no current plans so line them up, who’s out and about

 

running in the belfast marathon :s

 

Already razzing up west coast of bonnie scotland with pappa tyke!!! MDMazing!

It will be the 35th annual 1066 Hastings bike run for me. Will head over to Locksbottom for the gathering there at about 9.30, then off down the A21 to the seafront

 

OK we have me & Carl (Grantham) Paul (Sleaford) and James (Leicester) so far for a ride out to the snake road (Snake pass) in Derbyshire on bank holiday the 6th May.
starting in Newark at round 10am, anyone else like to join us?

I may be able to do this one too. The missus is on a lasses cruise holiday, although i promised to take the kids out while she's away as i then head to the start of the Scotland tour on the Thursday.

Bugger, the boss has spoken, i'm to entertain the kids all Bank Holiday and i don't think they'd appreciate chasing Blades in my car round the A57.
Still, there's always next Bank Holiday at the end of the month.

It can be arranged as i've got plenty of stickers left

 

I might tag along as dont live far from the the snake pass. Whats the plan ?

 

We're just putting a route together, if I remember rightly there's a pub on the A57 just as you hit ladybower east, might stop there for lunch?

 

Shhhhh boys, Mums the word. I am working on the lovely Ling but I have been working mega hours just lately and been ships in the night even in the same house so I need to tread carefully. If I asked out right she would say yes without hesitation but then I would feel guilty about leaving her on her own and therefore not really enjoy it.

Slowly, slowly catchy monkey and it will all be her idea for me to go out for a ride.

Oh and Carl…..if you ever repeat this in front of her I will cut out your tongue with my bike key, that is, after having it surgery removed from my arse.

 

Going to Hastings the easy way cos got the wife will be with me pillion.Going a20 to Ashford then camber road to Rye then on to Hastings.Last year there were some seriously idiotic loonies about especially on the a21.If anyone goes on this route be careful there was an abundance of mobile speed cameras probably 1 in every town we went through at either end.Anyone would've thought they had better things to do.
