We'll that's our tickets on the way after deciding that it would be mad to miss out on a chance to get in to the BSB Assen weekend for free.

    Anyone else going over?

Also anyone got any hints tips on where to stay?

are you staying in hotel or on the track campsite ??

I stayed on the campsite last year for BSB and it was fab good laughs lots of beer and food all on site ,, and good clean showers and loos ! secure site with security patrols all night
I went over alone on my bike with my tent lol met some great people who are going again this year I am going over again too not sure if it will be on bike or in the car depends on weather its no fun 4 days in the rain ughhhh done it before never again lol

mate and his wife are going in there car bringing a full kitchen with them lol I will be camping near them lol I just pitch some cash to pay for some of the food bill and she is great cooks it all for us in fact we are having a sign made CAFE this year lol just for her !

the campsite did get quite full but not like it is on motogp no way near that , midnight it all goes quiet normally unless your anywhere near us lot we made more noise than anyone else there :) not our fault the beer did it :)

if you want any advice let me know ? happy to help !

I'll be staying in a Hotel mate. Can't beat a comfy bed :)
We were planning on going by bike and then getting the ferry over, but that is about 2 times the cost of just flying over and hiring a car for 4 days.

if the weather is not too bad it will be the bike for me Swansea to Assen takes me around 8 hours in good weather and using Eurotunnel a little longer if you use ferry ..

hotels tend to be really expensive when any motorsport is going on in Assen .. don't really like camping but love the atmosphere more than comfort lol

let me know when your there and I shall buy you a beer no worries

you will have a ball over there ,,,, try and go to the motogp there its a national holiday and is fab everyone at any age is in full blown holiday mood its ace

Hotel only works out at £85 for 3 nights mate and it's only 7 miles from the track.
I'd need to get the ferry from Newcastle which takes 15 hours and costs more than the hotel, hire car, and flight put together.
