New hoops for me today,Dunlop Sportsmarts with the 55 rear profile,£293 fitted with a £25 fuel voucher promotion.

Had a quick blast around North Wales ( Pondrosa & Demon Tweeks ) to do a bit of scrubbing in,bike felt planted but did notice the more rapid turn in as tipped into corners but soon got used to it.

Went for a Brisk ride out today with a few m8's to try out the now lowered Blade..............came home and have refitted it back to standard height!...........just to hard to keep a line when its cranked over, tends to run a tad wide.So if anyone is about to buy some lowering plates........I have a set here which have only done 200 miles.

[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG] Well with Scotland just a couple of days away i thought i should check the bike over and tighten a few bolts ect you may notice just a small black mark under side of the hugger its not gone through and is only a scuff but its a warning to those who fit 55 profile tyres and then may carry a porker on the back .I recently fitted some Metz k3s with a 55 profile and if i was totaly honest they felt no better than standard so going back to a 50 and with the Thursday monsoon coming in i am looking at some Michelin Power 3 .

They do indeed, shipmate! The Road 3's are the gucci rain tyre with all sipes and stuff. The Power 3 is the new kid on the sports block. Not sure what they're like in the rain.

Slick has a pair of Power 3's. Cos he's well flash.

Went up to Box Hill yesterday and ended up at the top, the steak restaurant 'Smith & Weston' ... I even took the missus to try out her new grab rail ...

Anyone like 'man food' I highly recommend it ! And what a glorious day !

New GP Pro's arrived today. Now I don't need to wait in for the postman I can pop out and get my tyre for Scotland and crack on with fitting it, cleaning the rear sprocket while the wheel is off and oiling the chain when it's back together.
