+1 with the Meguires range, the finish is amazing.

but what do you used to get the muck off in the first place?

For wheels and similar areas I like to use vulcanet wipes, grease and muck just falls off. Just to add I always wet wash the bike before using the wipes!

Personally i dont use anything apart from a clean rag and just take my time doing little bits at a time. Dip the rag in water to help remove flies ect and thats it. im sure specific products would work better but im happy with my method and it works

    Pre-rinse
    MUC Off bike cleaner
    Rinse
Wash with Meguairs gold class shampoo
    Rinse
    Drying towel
    Baby wipes on wheels
Meguairs quick detailer with a soft polish cloth
Run upto temperature on paddock stands to dry chain
Place on side stand so any excess trapped water can fall out of lower fairing

    Something like:-

    Rinse HOT
    Snow foam
    Rinse HOT
Ph wash (Carnauba wax PH neutral wash)
    Rinse HOT
    Air line
    Pre wax cleaner (non abrasive)
Zymol or Supernatral or maybe Raceglaze 55 (best smelling wax ever) Two coats.
    Synthetic Sealant
Use micro fibre cloths grit guard buckets etc etc

I love cleaning.. Even my customers bikes get the full monty from time to time if I have time to do them.

    Another snow foam convert here.

Just wish I had access to an airline for a complete contact-less wash....

Damp kitchen towel left on the fairings to soften the bugs that have gone hard then good old mr sheen, even use sheen for cleaning chain lube that's been flung off. Soft bottle brush to get the bugs off the radiator.

I have laods of cleaning gear from what has been suggested. Been trying out the Sdoc100 gear and it's really good.

Microfiber clothes, and or wool mitts for washings. snow foam works well to remove crap from a bike but i don't do it much as the bike never gets really dirty

Finish Kare detaling spray is very good at removing light crap or just to clean the bike after a wash. Loving DODO juice stuff from their wax, sealants etc...

A top tip for one of the best sealants out there which is very reasonably and last for years is FinishKare 1000P Hi-Temp Sealant

Finish Kare 1000P Hi-Temp Sealant - Clean Your Car

best sealant I have used and I've tried allot

I get much of my stuff from
Car Care Products | Detailing Products | UK - Clean Your Car

    always good service
