MotoGP to go to BT Sport in 2014 - so no more MotoGP on terrestrial telly then.

Pay Dorna direct and get a season video pass for their website.

You dont need BT Infinity - just a BT broadband package. If you have a BT Broadband then you get BT Sport for free - that includes MotoGP, football, rugby, tennis......

Or if you already have Sky you can get BT Sport over that platform too if you have a BT broadband package. For free.

Yes, but when you select a package on the website they check your area via your BT phone number; I get a message saying I don't have Infinity in my area, so BT Sport isn't available. I presume they need the fibre to deliver the service, Infinity is the name for their fibre-based high speed service.

There's a message about BT Sport "maybe" being available over the air in September, but that's a bit vague for me.

They are pushing it with Infinity but it is available to anyone with a BT broadband package. I’ve only got the standard broadband and have been told I’ll get it free.

You can get it on Sky for £15 a month. An annual Dorna MotoGP website video subscription is £35 iirc. You can get BT Sport for free is you have BT broadband but theres no point if you have Sky. The shitter here is if you have Sky's on demand service with their broadband they make sure your service is as speedy as possible with no download limits. It's also cheap as chips. BT broadband is expensive by comparison and not worth paying for just to get BT Sport channel for free.

Easy one for me this. Fingers crossed my MotoGP website login remains good, setup the live broadcasts on my laptop and beam it to my TV using Apple TV. I'm hoping the highlights might be available on another channel but I'm not confident.

MotoGP video pass is €100-160 per season, according to this, so a significant outlay.

BT Infinity isn't expensive in comparison with Sky's broadband - it's actually £5pm cheaper than Sky's equivalent fibre package, and faster. However, if you don't have BT broadband and you have Sky, it's £12pm (SD) and £15pm (HD) for the extra BT Sport channels (replacing ESPN)

If you sign up for a BT broadband package before 1st Aug you can get the basic package for £10 a month. This gives you BT Sport free. You can then watch MotoGP either via the BT Vision box or choose to view BT Sport over the Sky platform, or come the end of August via FreeView. That must be the cheapest option?

I don't have BT and would not have their telephone again. Thus even with Sky I have no hope

Whyzzat? You'll get the BT Sport channels on Sky without being a BT customer, if you fork out the £12-15pm for the extra package.

Just out of interest, do you use Sky's on-demand service using BT BB? If you do, is it any good? Is your BT BB Infinity or normal slow shit and how much do you pay for it??

I use Sky On-Demand via BT Infinity, and it's as fast as a Black Blade..! Sky don't throttle non-Sky broadband users.

Julian Ryder and Keith Heuwen, if the Twitter rumour mill is to be believed...

BT Sport said they wanted an ex-racer on the Comms team. Shame Stavros didn't get the nod though, as I enjoy his insight that you don't get with Toby & Julian.

Give me Toby and Julian over Stavros any day of the week.

I personally think the Toby, Julian and Neil Spalding combo is superb.
