Starting issues

    Hi guys I finally got myself an RR8 blade! Only problem since I got it home this afternoon is that it won't start! It turns over but won't ignite.battery is fully charged.engine cut off is not on. I can't work out what's wrong. Any info?? Oh my garage is very smelly from petrol fumes!

    Check the kill switch wiring and actual switch

    Did that already.

    Think I may have found the prob.i didnt hear a relay noise when I turn the ignition on.for some reason it didnt work and now its back to normal

    When I was looking for my blade one of the ones I viewed died while I was test riding it. Turns out it was due to the kill switch, if you wiggled it ever so gently you could hear the fuel pump relay click on. That was a 2008, perhaps there are a few out there with flaky kill switches...

    Remove seat, remove fuel pump relay, crank 30 seconds - then while cranking again slowly re-fit fuel pump relay

    Watch for cloud of black smoke while it starts - its OK, Honda UK have written to say this is normal
