It really does look immaculate! Did you use the autosol on the chain to get is so shiny, or something else?

The wax takes 24hrs to harden.... After that, give it another coat and you'll notice even more shiiiiiine.

First i gave it a good clean with parafin to get all the dirt and muck off that it has collected over the past few months then i just used autosol , a rag and a lot of elbow grease and it came up perfect, then just coated it in engine oil and then wiped off all the excess. i have worn away a few layers of skin on the tips of my fingers though with all the bloody scrubbing

The compound and the polish are absolutely amazing products and have removed dirt and marks i honestly didnt think was possible to do so. I am so happy with them.

But the liquid wax has not wow'd me quite as much, considering it is more than double the price of the others i was expecting to also see amazing results but to be honest i could hardly notice any differance, maybe because it was a very dull day with no sunshine to make it look better.

What procedure do you use with the wax si as i might have got it wrong

The wax just speaks in the polish dude. Just compound the bike, then polish, then seal with a wax. Give it another coat tomorrow, and you'll see the shine more.

When you say the wax takes 24hrs to harden, does this mean you just apply it and then leave it because in the instructions it said allow to dry to a haze. i then gave it a good rub with the microfibre cloth provided, should i have just left it

Yeah, apply it, buff it off, and do the same again next day. Job done.

So I had some vouchers left over from Christmas and went to Halfords and got the Megs Ultimate and Liquid Wax. I was debating whether or not to get the compound but left it in the end. Like a dope I realised afterwards it is a 3 for 2 offer and could've got it anyway. I thought at the time my paint finishes on the bike and mine and the missus car didn't need a compound which I'm assuming is a bit like a T cut product?

So to help me out, is it the Ultimate that goes on first and what type of cloth should I use to get a good finish as I don't want to go into buying Terry Towling and all that business? Then after this is it the Liquid Wax, is this like a finisher that seals in the Ultimate. Then how often can these products be used?

If you are meaning the ultimate polish then yes it does go on before the liquid wax.

The compound is like T-cut but much better in my opinion

Woke up late, jetlag from yesterday's flight home; then down to serious preparation for NW200 trip on Thursday,

Fitted my zumo so I don't get lost:

Fitted my R&G radiator guard so I don't get holed / stranded
    image.jpg

    Fitted new hugger

And then a right good clean followed by a dowsing in ACF50

Off to bed again, tired but happy. :)
