Got the Evotech myself as it looks fare nicer and better made than the R&G one.

Downside is because it's a 'fitted' guard it requires the lower fairing to be eased apart to slide it in, not removed just undo a few screws/bolts etc.

The R&G one just slides in as it's smaller so there is more play in it's final mounting position.

The Evotech is one sheet of moulded Alloy.

Amazed bikes don't have them as standard when new - R&G here but all do much the same thing so its what you can get for best £'s -

Beowolf are made in Halifax and they do one

Yeah, time to get one I think. Summers here. You can tell 'cos round here they've started laying down miles and miles of BIG, radiator wrecking, stone chippings.

I have the R+G one that also goes with the bottom guard that covers the exhausts
Complete set tidies the bike up.
Not sure if easy to fit as the dealer fitted them for free when purchased the bike

Just had a stone through the rad a week ago, cost of repairs all in £600.00, that is including an R&G... Can't comment on fitting as it was fittrd with the new rad or comparisons to others? Competitive prive & looks sweet... good enough for me!

    Anyone umming and arrghiing

BLOODY BUY ONE Could save you a small fortune !

Having seen the amount of dressing on the road yesterday I just ordered an R&G for mine. Was tempted by the Beowulf but I am an R&G tart :)

Just ordered a Beowulf by chance, looks like an inspired decision reading this thread. I liked the fact that it does not have to tie wrap on.

Feeling sore on R&G at the moment, just weighed out for new led numberplate lights as they burnt out, and now a stress fracture to the thinnest part of the tail tidy ally frame means yet more dosh on replacing that, just not good enough for 2 years.

Anyone fitted to a 2013, ABS model. I was going to get EVOTECH as I've had one of theirs before, Guy tells me it doesn't fit the ABS Model!

Does the Beowuolf fit without tie wraps

Fitted one of these to my ABS bike yesterday. Just like Slick say, Cable ties are fiddly (and then some). Took me an hour+ to get it right. Tip:- With these rads make sure you have the bottom bolt 'started' before pulling the ties up tight. Now I can relax tho. My hearts been 'in my mouth' as they say, every time I see that "10mph!" stone chippings sign.
By their nature tho they do mask the bikes radiator so on my ABS bike must make a mental note to keep an eye on the temp' gauge and switch off when stuck in traffic.

Fitted the R&G to my 07 today. What a palaver, had to remove 2 fairings, rad surround and lower guard. All together now though

I forgot to mention I do have lady like hands which helps with fiddly jobs like this!. Re temps, I've sat in traffic in warmish weather for ages and the temps have never gone above 107, as soon as you start moving they do drop quickly again.

We'll have to see how the blades copes when the summer kicks in proper:cool:
