Am on another forum where they do this. Basically most Organisers will give a 10% discount with little prompting if you get 10 or more people. Once at the track people congregate together to tell tales of daring do whilst waiting for their group. Apart from that it is like a normal track day, you do your own thing but have other people to talk with and get/give feedback about the track/riding style etc.
You know im in mate as long as i have the balls to take the blade on the track. July/August will be the best time for me if possible

I would love it to be oulton park and wed be best off choosing a track with not too tifht noise limits. i cant do second two weeks in july

Guys I would be really up for this How about Snetty? Rockingham is the closest track to me bar Bedford autodrome but it has an awful surface with it changing surface type on the apex of a couple of corners!! Feels more like a kart track....
Is there a list of noise limits for uk tracks? Not everyone will have a baffle for their exhaust, inckuding me Also maybe worth budying up with people and renting a van for the bikes (approx £30 for the day) fez care to join me on this potentially? It wiuld be a shame if anyone binned their bike and then had to try and ride it home. For central circuits were talkin rockingham, donny, snetterton and silverstone
Depends on the day for noise limits but based on noisy days- Snetterton 102db Cadwell park 105db Mallory Park 98db Brands hatch 105db Bedford 101db Donnington 105db Oulton Park 102db Silverstone 105db To give some who don't know an idea on noise levels my 59plate blade with Yoshi R77 without baffle scrapes in at 101db
So silverstone, donny and poss sneterton to look at then? Silverstone would be nice for people taking their blades!! Lets see how much ibyerest we drum up first.. is it worth making this a sticky??
No limits say 105 for donny noisy day but there was no testing at Donny when I did mine end of April and with my baffle in my Yoshi R77 it was one of the quietest exhaust there. So no baffle needed for no limits noisy day at Donny
Oulton is 160miles for me so wouldn't be coming to that! I might just scrape Cadwell at 90miles though.... Silverstone is a good track for getting the straight line blasts but I think Snetty has the most of everything, 2 long straights, at least 2 hairpins and fast left and right turns
Was just thinking at donny ,silverstone ect are all 150+ miles away from me and tbh even oulton is quite far, cadwell is the nearest to me but i wouldnt say it was local
Cadwell gets my vote. we could do with a map that people can put their location on who are interested so we can pick a central track to everyone
Oulton is 155 from me and cadwell over 210 from me. Donny's 135 miles away. i'm happy travel but anything over 170-180 miles needs to be a 2 dayer.
