Rumour has it Fireblades are quite handy round the Isle of Man. I don't believe it myself. I reckon the S1000 must win everything.
It will be genuinely interesting to see if anyone uses (if legal) the active suspension HP4 in the TT this year. Technically, it should be perfect for road racing but most suspension technicians I've spoken to about it think not....

Back in 2010 a superstock Fireblade averaged just over 130mph on a lap ott the TT with Ian Hutchinson on board , I myself think a bike that can do that is good enough for any one that does an odd track day and mainly road use , I am well chuffed with mine , best bike I have ever owned
What he said. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ As an overall 'ownership package' (what a phrase! Yuck!) it's hard to beat. I have to be dragged away from mine.
