Just noticed while reading my manual that I found... The maintenance schedule for the 2012 is 8k miles.. Not 4k like the older models... Did that just change for 2012? Or earlier? H

Gotta say my dealer also said 4k until I showed the service schedule in the service book, they conformed with Honda so as not mess warranty and conformed 8k on 2012 model, not a 2012 registered ealier model tho about time they did they extended, Ducati are on 7.5k BM on 6K, its about having a bit of faith in what you build that it is durable, 4 stroke should be even to what these rev to
spoke to my dealer today (chells stafford) and he confirmed 8,000 miles or 12 months whatever comes first
Mine will have to go in for tyres before that anyway... So will prob get them to do the clutch cable and oil+filter anyway... H
Me also Coming off hydraulic clutch to the 12 I thought I had a problem but got used to it lever just seems to move about a bit more with slipper and seems a fair bit of play in it
Yes, the Slipper clutch does make the cable feel odd at times, almost as though it's snapped! Ya get used to it though!
It is unusual not had any complaints along those lines even on bikes with much higher mileage but were not city based.
