You will note I have target this at those in or around the Glasgow area, which will be self explanatory as you read on, although feedback outwith would be very much welcomed, as it's a mine field.

Im in the market for an exhaust for my 2013 model. So far I have looked at three exhausts, which are floating my boat

    Two Brother Black Series

    Leo Vince GP

    Yoshiurma RR7

The problem I have is I like to hear an exhaust before I buy, so hence why I have target the Glasgow area of the forum with this post, this would be with a view to have a look/listen. So if it anyone in the Glasgow area with and non stock can shed some feedback, that would be excellent on what exhaust you have fitted to your bike. I have tried you tube, but they all sound the same in the videos, IMO! LOL

I had a Yoshimura R77 on my old blade, loved how it looked and how it sounded... the quality and fit is the most impressive thing. I had one on my 600rr before that. They are like £700 uk source now, I'm sure I paid £500 2 years ago.

I had an O2 eliminator and PCV to as the R77 did not come with the hole for the Lamda sensor from what I can remember and it ran lumpy as hell without.

I've got a GP Pro 2 on my 2013, sounds epic to, not sure if I like the look more than the R77 but makes sense on my new bike.

There is a good site on youtube for listening to exhausts...

    Leo Vince for example

Leovince Evo 2 GP Pro für Honda Fireblade - YouTube

They do in reality all sound the same. Go with the one you like the look of most.

Humm, I've just bought a Yoshimura R77 for my 2013 blade ( just waiting for it to arrive in the post), I know about possibility of needing a PC, but not heard anything about an O2/Lamda sensor? Will I need to get something else, or will it all just fit my bike with no probs?

    Don't we all! :D

Yoshi seems to get the most votes both here and over the pond!

The standard exhaust has an O2 sensor.

From what I can remember the R77 does not have a hole for this, the one I didn't at least, so I needed an 02 eliminator which tricks the ECU into thinking you have one fitted so the ECU warning light does not come on.

O dear, that does not sound good. Where can I get these 02 eliminates from?

Dynojet sell them as well as the PCVs.

If you look on the leo vince main .com site, then go to the GP Pro you can see a technical drawing which shows the o2 sensor hole, and blanking screw for if you want to run an o2 eliminator and PCV... But you don't have to with this exhaust.

The yoshi may come with the O2 sensor hole now too.

Just read the yoshimura instructions again and it does refer to the O2 sensor and come with a bung if not using one. Happy days!

Got my new blade with Scorpion RP1 GP exhaust fitted. Decided to go for it as reasonably priced at £500 and looks great with the fairing panel hiding the pipes.
Turns out it sounds great too:)
Am in Perth and would be happy to meet you half way if you want to hear it.

Jim, I have the Yoshi on my bike which you are welcome to listen to.
Bloody loud without the baffle, which I have never had in it.
Missus also has the Scorpion one on her 600RR which you are welcome to listen to as well.
Sounds nice too, and is a lot cheaper as well.

I got mine put on it at Victor Divines though which may put you off.

Any reason why you didn't get Hamilton motorcycle services to fit it? I'm sure Davie would have done you a good price.

As VD's is a Yoshi and Scorpion agent, they already had the Blade kitted out with all the Yoshi stuff on it mate.
It is what swayed my decision to trade in my 600RR for the beastie.
Davie fitted my previous Akrapovic can to my 600RR for nothing while it was in for a service (it's where I bought my 600RR from too).
And I take the Blade to Davie for my tyres too.

Missus got the Scorpion can put on at VD's too, for £240 supplied and fitted which I thought was pretty good.
Bike Show deal on the Scorpion can was £225 not fitted.

Guys I just bought a Yoshi and it came with the hole for O2 sensor and a bolt to plug it.

If you buy the US models or the not for road use ones then they don't usually have the hole as standard
