As the title said my alarm has given up the ghost how easy is it to remove the alarm as at the moment I have no power any one local with a bit of know how to give me a hand as ive got no way of getting my bike to a garage
not sure of removal - but you could use your brakedown cover to recover your bike to a garage - if you have any..?
Removal is relatively simple but it can be time consuming. Basically it is finding where the unit is connected to the loom and removing it. One problem you may face is that some fitters will cut a section of the original wirie out of the loom to make it more difficult to remove. A Haynes manual, some spare wire, a method of connecting wires (not scotch locks!!) and time is all you need.
Thanks for the advice lads but have decided to take my blade to Arthur's for alarm removal plus a service and to sort a few other niggles I have with my blade
