Blimey Nutty, impressed that you can almost forget about a 5 day coma...unless ...of course... it was because of the coma, in which case I've just been really insensitive. Tell you what, lets just think about you on a trampoline for a minute or two.........
I was lucky....(if you can call it that) they said six months and it may not fix! Turns out giving up smoking and drinking some years back was a good thing, fixed my trashed Z1000 while mending and rode it again 6 weeks later! Best day of my life after being told I may not be able to ride easy again.. Some people are far worse off than I was but I had a taste of how unlucky some people are! If I could not ride bikes then a part of me would just die.. :,(
Collar bone following a high side at Portimao, Easter weekend this year. I also broke my wrist but didn't even realise I'd done my collar bone until I got back to the UK. Dead 'ard me
Sprial fracture to my ankel skydiving in New Zealand but that was bout 16 years ago! Bike injury.. just a bruise nearly the full length of my inner thigh from falling off whilst learning.. no photo's I'm afraid
Skydiving?.................I'm getting a nose bleed again. Spiral fracture. Nasty! I got one of them too.
Ha! Even my limited knowledge of anatomy tells me that if he's got a bone in there, broken or not, he's put it there himself. LOL.
Broke my left thumb and my right scaphoid in a 20mph crash. After 2 days in hospital I had to discharge myself to catch my flight to New Zealand.... Two smashed hands in a slow crap crash, and i've walked away from two 100mph+ crashes when racing. Funny how crashes work huh.
Never a truer word. I'll never walk completely normally after an accident I had while stationary on a pushbike, with nobody within 15' of me.
