Need some advice guys, as am no to technical.

I just put a new Two Bros Exhaust on my bike tonight and it sounds bloody awesome. I should say before I go on, I did speak with Two Brothers and they send it didn't need a Power Commander. So taking that onboard can anyway give me a steer.

I know the bike use to hunt between to 2K-1.5K after initial start up, but certainly settle down after a while. However when coasting along it still seems to do hunt a little still when in neutral or even after a 20min run, really notice when your off the gas, or it whilst taking a roundabout in 2nd...Maybe its just the exhaust tone amplifying it.

To be honest I never notice it before, well thats to say I certainly noticed it, prior to putting this exhaust on. more since putting the exhaust on.

I runs fine doesn't seem to miss a beat or back fire when running at pelt, just seems to be when you come off the gas it hunts a bit.

Has the management system on the bike to learn, since the OEM one has been removed. Should say its a 2013 ABS model, with 600miles on the clock.

Your advice would be very much appreciated, sorry if I'm being an idiot no too technical when it comes to the engine.....I can fix computers and electronics :)

Virtually all aftermarket Pipes benefit from a Powercomander and a custom Dyno re-map, they just play this down so they don't scare off customers as it's another £450 or so on top of the Zorst!

That exhaust is known to do that. They sell a tip/baffle thing which improves matters I think. Not a good choice of exhaust IMO. Read more about it on 1000RR.net

Ran the engine for a while today, seems to have settled down, will take it out for a burst when it dries up and if that fails will stick Power Tip on as I have one...not such a biggy although would prefer it not to hunt

TBR also sell their own fuel tuning module (alternative to a PC)

Some of you ought to remember this statement, there might be a nice low mileage bike up for grabs in a year or two! ;)

Me neither, does anyone keep getting a 1 come up infront of the 70??? Is that some kind of warning or a fault or something?

Very wise mate. It's far too easy to chuck money at these things for no real reason.

I think it is a fault, I get the 1 after I push it to 87mph then the limiter starts kicking in,
I will email honda uk later.

That might be the case in ur opinion, and I fully appreciate that and not offended in anyway, however akropro are so over priced and Trueblue did a fantastic deal on it it was brand new and at a fraction of the new price cost. Everyone who listens to it thinks its awesome and i agree, gets me all wet.

I put the tip in and it seemed to cure the problem, but never sounded as as good with it out, so out it came LOL. I can deal with it to be honest and it seems to be settling down, although may seek advice from local dyno guys
