I'm in the hunt for a new exhaust and I'm in a bit of a pickle as to which 1 to go with. I like the R77 yoshi, and also the akrapovic slip-on.

The 1 that's just caught my eye though is the Austin Racing exhaust. Does anyone have 1 of these or know how they perform. They look a bit different from the norm but I quite like it.

Yep i have one, Have got the V3 ti can and i have to say it is a nice bit of kit

It's on the loud side, but dose sound insane, seem to be well made and i have had no trouble with it at all, also got the infill panel to go with it in fact that was his prototype one but again it fits a treat and all is good

Makes a massive difference over standard and really dose wake the bike up !!

Runs all right as with standard fuelling as well, tick's over ok when staring from warm, a bit lumpy from cold, but nothing that to worry about

Like your self i was going to get a Yoshi or akrao but just wanted some think a bit different

the only thing i would change if i could would be the angle it sticks up at, but thats just me be picky, all in all i give it a big thumbs up

I have been on two track days with it on, one at Donny on a quite day and one at Silverstone, had no problem with noise at all on both days

In fact a mate who has a k7 750 with an akrao can on got black flagged at Donny for noise, which made me smile

I've just spoken to the guys at Austin Racing. They're willing to do a deal with me. I'm going to see them at they're stand at the NEC next Sunday. That way I can have a good look at the exhausts. I had a Akrapovic on my last bike and loved it. If I was getting a akra or yoshi it would be from the states. They're far too expensive over here. The cheapest I can find a Akra for is £670

Colin - im getting the Akro with my new bike next week. I am undecided which way to go with exhausts. I have an R77 now which Villan is buying. I like the Leo GP Pro and may sell the Akro for this. I was going to get the dealer to fit the Akro, but i may tell them not to until I decide. If you are interested in the Akro let me know. It is new and I would want £550 for it. Let me know if this is of interest mate.

Resurrecting an old thread here :)

Does anyone have an Austin Racing GP Ultimate end can fitted to their bike? If so, could you post up some pics?

    Ta :)

I was talking to Austin racing at the nec show, I'm tempted to get one just for the road. I would like one made in inconel but unsure of the price.

Quality made kit and they make half the F1's exhausts

mates got one on his 10r.... probably the same can.
i'll get a pic when i see the fker.

incidentally, he recently used his bike as a skateboard and flattened the can.... sent it back to austin and they resleeved it and fitted a new end cone for £100 incl post!!!
now that is good imo - ive not seen it back on yet but apparently it looks brand new

Only 47% heavier than titanium and why not? nice to have something different than others have on their bikes

I've been looking and will prob get a Austin can at the NEC this year. quick and easy to replace the Yohsi R77 I have on at the moment for trackdays

Right bringing this back up as I was hoping for updates on how members Austin racing Exhausts have been since they had them?

I intend to get 1 at the NEC show for use on the road. my R77 is fine for most tracksdays unless very quiet ones.

I'm heading towards the GP ULTIMATE model myself
