It's not a pic of my tool mate I'm afraid but here is a pic of the part number

    image.jpg

It looks as if they come with the locking tool fitted mate, hard to tell as still sealed in the packet but I'm sure someone can confirm if this next pic shows........

Thanks Mart, really appreciate you digging it out for me and all the info ref Arthur's tool!!!!:)

Seems that there's two part numbers used, one on the bags and in the tech diagrams- looks like this is different to the unit on the 08-11, was also sure I read MrB confirming before.

Thanks again for trying to help, would have been straight down to grab that off you.

Cheers mate, tell me about the blatent rip off!! Had that part number, but was looking at the lings website and for some reason they use the own numbers (pfkl307231) which confused my simple brain!!

Found one in stock at Dobles, warm up pappa Jimbo, Jimbo, tomorrow's a goer.

they all come with a retaining clip thats meant to be binned after fitting.
but you can use it again if needed.

Went and picked up the tensioner and gasket yesterday.

Took the bike down to Jimbo's dads unit where they were both waiting keenly to start the piss taking! Thanks mate, really appreciate your help yesterday, getting the tank off on my own would have been a real pain in the arse.

Like Arthur and Phantom said, not a huge job just a little awkward to get to- thanks for the advice gents, glad I did it myself and saved some cash.

Good news is the rattles now completely gone- thanks again Arthur for diagnosing it.
