    Removed my baffle finally.

Also bought some R&G cotton reel things and an oxford paddock stand so I can lift the rear for chain lubing / cleaning.

Fitted the R&G bobbin, but they are massive and look shocking so will only fit them when I want to lift the bike.

Mine helped save the wingarm from getting damaged when it went down the road.
Worth keeping on I recon (+saves f*king about when you need them)

Tuesday night I went to Bassets Pole near Sutton Coldfield
    It was packed
well worth a trip out if you live near that way
must have been 400 + bikes there and people come and go so I'd estimate between 600-700 bikes there in total, and a huge variety at that
    will be going again

Had to get my arse in gear, get up early this morning and fit the wheels after having pilot 3's fitted ready for our tour. Took the opportunity to also fit the sbs dual carbon front pads I'd recently bought.

Suspension setup booked in today after work so best get my gear on and hit the road.

Rode her to work the long way at 5.30am, rode her home from work the long way.

Will be out on her again in about an hour to pop round to a mates house to sort out his gps fit. Loving this weather!

Friday afternoon - fitted a GPR steering damper. I am yet to experience a tank slapper, possibly because I ride too slowly, but I don't want to either. The consensus seems to be that a 954 should have one.

Also fitted Motomart levers yesterday, after recommendations from other threads on here. Pretty happy with them except that most of the nyloc nuts needed a bit of a tighten before I was happy with them. The only other disappointment was that the postie wouldn't put them through the letterbox and I had to go across town to collect...

Hi Moab, good choice of steering damper IMO. Fitted one to my R6 as I had a couple of moments with the HESD one when I pushed really hard. No problems since the GPR was fitted even when really giving it some stick. Some people have reported they have had oil leaks on their GPR's, mine is fine so far but it is worth just keeping an eye out for any signs of oil leakage.

The weight saving alone means I'll undoubtedly be able to ride this now! I wish.

Put the replacement nose fairing on the bike today after the highside a couple of weeks ago. looking good again now. The new swingarm went in midweek and so did the wing mirror and footpeg. Arrow can coming next week with the seat unit.
That was an expensive highside. Just remember, bed your new tyres in before ringing it's neck.
    Happy days,
    Slider

fitted my new screen thanks to (rich c) that i bought and also my lower r&g grill (thanks mr h) which is for 2012 model but after a bit of fiddling and a few ties got it to fit a 2011 (next time the fairing comes off i,ll turn the ties the other way round but thats the best i could get with all panels still on) . probably wouldnt fit if i hadnt had the rad grill as nothing to tie it too and the bracket on lower grill was in the wrong place. i turned down asv levers and a gel seat on here but wish i,d bought them now. there next on my shopping list!!

Adjusted my rear brake light switch so that it actually comes on without having to resort to stamping on the brake. Now have my "fuck off tailgating me you stupid knob" light back
