got 2 options for this sunday and i,m a bit torn betwen them. 1) stay home and relax and watch whats likely to be a cracker of the brands bsb finale. or 2) take my 2 young boys to enjoy the carnage known as weston beach race (which ive missed the last 4 years) and hope that i dont hear the bsb outcome before i watch it the day after.
That a tough one, I fancied going up to watch the BSB final and would have done but i've got to be back up to Taunton for a course first thing Monday morning so leaving Brands early evening and getting back to Cornwall in the early hours buggered that one and made the decision for me!
Record Brands, keep the radio off coming home, enjoy the day with the lads. That's something you can't record. Plus you get the advantage of fast forwarding all the bollocks and Bike Insurer ads between the action after they've gone to bed thinking how cool their old man is.
leasantry:No brainer if you ask me, the boys come first every time and think of the riding points you will earn at the same time
Im gonna be in the paddock. Few of my mates are competing ... Good luck lads .. Your gonna need it to get through the carnage lol... Love western.. The start of the straight puts shivers down my spine when all the bikes past for the first time
Blimey, looks like Weston-Super-Mud is turning into the first 1000rr away day. I might even clear my diary.
That could be a good idea for a get together, we could try and get as many as poss to a round or 2 of next years bsb could make for a cracking weekend or 2 !
I'd be up for that for sure, I was hoping to get to a couple of rounds next year so if we can arrange this that would be great.
WSM is about 30 miles from me and never gone to the race. I will be hanging this Sun after the sis in laws 18th the night before. I would do the Beach race. and record BSB. Got to say I always loved moto gp and WSB but been loving BSB this year. much better than WSB and more exciting then MOTO GP this year.
Camp!! Bugger off! But if we were going to have a few beers of the evening I'll get my chauffeur to drop me off.
Don't do camping, mate. Physically or metaphorically. My idea of a bit of rough is a 4 star hotel, actually and by implication. wink wink
