Anyone see the 08 Rad guards on flea-bay? From Hong Kong and £30 with free P&P. It has the Honda wing and Yoshi logo laser cut into it and is steel. Looks the part, and was wondering has anyone fitted one of these. Can,t post an image of it on this works PC unfortunately, but would be easy enough to spot on the site

Garden, no one's going to see it down there!

And, though my Beowulf has no effect, some have reported higher temps with a guard fitted. So I'd get one with protection + max airflow.

    Personal opinion...pants

And it must be blocking 15 to 20% of the surface area with the wing emblem and the lettering, plus the way they have mounted the grill to frame looks cheap and nasty.....sorry just my view.

Not a fan, but that's just personal opinion. Each to their own and all that :)

Yup , I take your point . For an extra few quid this one probably not worth considering. I,ve been leaning towards the Beowulf TBH

Just be careful when fixing the Beowulf as when you tighten up the rad bolt the two top locators elevate themselves up and when you think you are done you find the top is loose and after 3 goes it becomes boring ;)also dont be heavy handed with the bottom bolt either as you may find like i did that you have ripped the small metal locater at the bottom of the guard

I fitted the Smoto guard last Saturday morning. Good fit, good finish and not a bad price off eBay. But.....a 15 mins job I thought. No chance ! It's probably just me and my fat fingers but them fiddly ties at the top of the guard tested by patience ! 45 mins and two brews later I was done, but happy in the end ;)
