Well woke early got the jobs done and 9am we are on are way , First stop fuel , reserve light on and flashing 1.8 so not much left in tank , £18.60 and full up and off to ellesmere , Whitchurch , Nantwich , stoke ,Matlock. , got to stoke and a bloody marathon taking place held up a bit but ok , then a few miles later , a layby on the left a biker pulled out blocked road and let out 20 or so , all together and riding close and bloody slow Just sat back and watched , got there and seen ash's bike and john's Ktm parked up pulled in behind them then off to meet up , we met up at a nice little pub Roast dinner , steak sandwich , larger shandy and a good chat , Walked back up the street just looking at the bikes and there was a lot , Went for coffee , sat under trees by bikes and was amazed at the fish in the water , Few hours gone by and time to say are goodbyes , really really nice folk , down to earth and funny , bloody Ktm looks lovely by the way Oh and when we left home till we returned not one police car , bike , helicopter , in sight . Nice one - sounds like a great time had by all. Guess its just luck / one of those things with the cops on a Sunday in that area today for you all. Did you find the 50 blanket speed limit a pain or manage to avoid most of it? The A515 from the A50 to Buxton is a belting road - now 100% 50 mph

Hi al , 50mph bloody pain in arse mate, then 40 , 30 back to 40 up to 50 , But it was a place I've wanted to go to and it was nice , would I go again yes I would but a different way next time ,
Its somewhere we meet for breakfast at 09:00 - leave home about 7:45, bite to eat and a natter at Kostas cafe then away around 10:00 and home. For an evening run for me its just about OK in June / July but again that 50 limit ALL the way in Derbyshire is just a nightmare - with not doing much you are suddenly 20 - 30 above limit
sometimes wonder if thats a good thing or if it was all stealth plod! best to get off the main roads on a day like today, as you saw. far too many 4 wheelers. we went round there last weekend and there was a 3 day pushbike event on, sweaty arse lycra clad roadhogs everywhere :/
