Yoshi R77

    Morning Guys,

    Just joined the forum and in the process of buying my first Blade. Hopefully a Black 2012 ABS.

    First things to be done are; Samco Hoses, HEL braided lines, and was thinking about the Yoshi R77 full system as shown below.

    However; it doesnt say or I cant see if this can one can come with baffles. It does say that they do a noise compliant slip on with baffles but the carbon one says its only for track.

    Any ideas ??

    I have the carbon yoshi from the US. I have baffles in for trackdays.
    I've never had a issue in over 2 years. You should get a baffle with it I think.
    Then up to you if u use it but its fruity but not loud loud if u get me

    I just love the look of it. Im thinking of going back to Europe on the blade if i end up buying it. I went last year and was travelling between Chiavenna in Itsaly and the Swiss border and my buddy and I got stopped and they checked EVERYTHING.

    So I need to make sure that there is a baffle that CAN make it normal if that makes sense.

    I toured france, Spain and Andorra with no issues. Where you get it from ask before you buy that it comes with a baffle. Surely if euro plod stop and check and it had a baffle in that should be good enough for them if it is over here

    re the braided lines, do you mind me asking how much is fitting and does this include a full ABS bleed?

    Do the newer bikes, and particularly the ABS ones really need braided lines ?

    having done 8k + on my ABS blade on track and touring I would say no.

    My yoshi r77 which i bought 2nd hand did not have one i ordered a new one through Kais of Atherton approved Yoshi dealer and about 40 quid .

    I have the Yoshi R77 in carbon and it came with a baffle which can be fitted but tested at 101db at the track so not had to fit the baffle yet :D

    Anyone had a Carbon pipe for a few years or so?

    I've heard reports that the Carbon Can's can look tatty after a year or two whereas the Stainless one's still look mint years later?

    Mine carbon Yoshi is over 2 years old and mint also like above. just use WD40 to clean

    My wife has just bought me a R77 in stainless for my birthday, which means I can't have it till the first week in July:( we bought it 2nd hand and it has a heat shield for the 2011 and 2013 bike. The 2013 will be up for sale early July if anyone needs one.

    I'm looking forward to fitting it :)
