While polishing my Blade noticed oil on my front wheel. Noticed oil leaking from one my fork seals

Hopefully my warranty covers this(fingers crossed!)

Honda aren't known for being sympathetic to replacing Fork seals under warranty.

They tend to infer you've been a bit of a 'Wheelie King' and thus decline to repair FOC.

Jeez, I hope not, paid good money for extended warranty, that said got my money back already with ABS bleeds, calliper server and headstock bearings all covered.

Anyone know if it is safe to ride with a slight leak?

IME, you'll be fine riding normally with a slight leak for a while, but just be aware of it, don't ride like a loony, and watch for fluid getting on to the tyre.

I recently had my fork seals replaced and needed to do the brake pads at the same time due to contamination so check you pads carefully.

Change the seals yourself, its not a big job to do it.

Very much doubt it'll get done under warranty mate. It is a wearable item. Comes under the same thing as tyres and brake pads.

Right you are, I did clean them post replacement of the seals and they looked OK and felt ok. Hadn't really used the brakes in anger until doing 160+ on a track day at Bedford Autodrome.

Watch at 1:58 where pass on the straight I try to brake hard and get nothing but smoking foil oil! Could have ended bad but it didn't:)

Just seen this thread and hoped that the OP had been tampering with aquatic mammals perhaps while under the influence.

    Oh well.
