Scratches on Screen - Removal ?

    Found a few scratches on my screen since it came back from having some work done..... i know i can not use normal cutting compounds, can someone point me in the right direction ?

    Get to your local caravan dealer or eBay and get some Fenwicks Windowwize mate. Gets rid of hazed plastics and light scratches :)

    Thanks for that, also got directed to a product called Novus, seems to be from the USA.

    I do like them ! May not work on my issue as the small scratch is on the inside of the screen ! I have just watched an american Youtube video of the Novus polishes.... makes me want to go out and buy the whole company, it was so ' uplifting ' !!! Looks decent stuff though, there is a guy in Preston selling it so i think a small kit will do the job and come in use for any other marks that can get onto plastic in the normal course of ownership.

    When you say you can't use normal cutting compounds what are you referring to?

    I have used 3M body shop range (yellow and blue tops) on screens and plastic lights before with good success. As with polishing all plastics you just have to watch the heat buildup.

    Its a 954 original Honda touring screen.... a bit rare and expensive to replace, i think the polish idea maybe the way to go, its arrived now so when i get some time i will go out and give the whole bike and the screen a good go over.
