Help quick...

    Tried to wheel my blade out of the garage got so far then the rear brake calliper jammed!!! Never happened to me before, it's a brand new bike, no corrosion, only 140 miles on the clock!! Any ideas (sorry for not searching forum first)

    Sod's law too perfect Wednesday evening just fancied a quick blast up to Willingham woods bike meet.

    Can you get rear wheel in air...paddock stand ?? try giving it a turn manually...... might free up caliper......is it ABS ??

    It's a non ABS 2012

    make sure the lever is returning.

    try releasing the pressure out of the caliper by loosening the bleed nipple on the caliper,then tighten up,and try the brake,see what happewns

    I have mate no joy got it on the abba stand rear wheel will move the normal way but very difficult but totally jams if I try to spin it rearwards...

    Something doesn't look right I can see the piston and a very thin rubber ring

    but did you do what i said?

    souns like it may have pushed the seal out.take the caliper off and look would be the easiest option

    No I haven't yet scooby, bit dubious about fettling with it as it is so new. I am sure it will be a simple fix, but my bike OCD is starting to kick in

    Yeah think you are right, it's well under warranty so they can square it away. Will ring the top lads at Grantham Honda tomorrow.

    Definitely take it back to Honda mate, it was heaving at Willi woods tonight, not that you wanted to hear that!
