    I'd bid for £150.

Whats the score with bidding then, are there any hidden charges?
Could be a way towards a cheaper/better track bike.

That's gotta cost more than a £1 to fix!

Yeh I wonder if there's a fee to join? Just seen a gixxer 750 that'd do as a track hack.

what I understand as its a cat b it must be broken so that's why they have a very low repair. As it needs to be used for spares

Yes there are buyers fees. You really need to view these bikes or cars from any salvage firm.I've dealt with the company mentioned in the past in Sandwich, Kent.As a salvage broker they are ok but they can fleece you if you're not careful.Like saying the car is a runner when it will only start but doesn't rev or it is extremely rattley through no oil in it.
Been once viewed a car, started it etc then bought it only to be told there are no keys!No comebacks.

I's at a grand now and I would say it's unlikely to see the road again.

I do like the look of the R1 they have for sale though. Might look a mess, but if it runs then would easily do up as a track bike

i know a lot of folk buy cat B bikes for track bitches but imo thats bonkers seeing as its been cat b'd due to major structural damage and youre going to be riding it flat out, braking flat out etc, way more than it would see on the road.

there was a guy killed at oulton a few years ago when his cat B r1 headstock snapped and he hit the concrete pit wall.
imo all thats worth is an engine for a kitcar or fiat 500
