    GBRacing engine case covers

Quite fancy some of these and the blurb says to state whether you require Racing or Road Bike versions?

What be the diff then, sumat to do with lock-wiring maybe?

    Hello mate -

From what I could gather having been interested in them myself, the only differences are with the alternator cover.

Apparently the race kit is for a different alternator, which has a different engine casing - so the GB cover is different. This is supposedly due to the race alternator being smaller.

    Right, so not much then.

Another Q is they state a DIY fit time of 10 mins!

Is that just the actual bolt on time or is there any Fairing removal required which they've shadily left out of these timings?

Mine took about 10 mins, it's simple, remove bolts from engine casing, fit cover and new slightly longer bolts, simples!!

So no fairing removal needed for any of the 3 covers?

Sinewave, it would be worth checking these fit ABS version. Generator (Alternator) cover already has a large plastic cover as standard (which also covers ABS pipework etc.)

I've got them on mine. Both sides. I'm sure I've put pics up before. I'll have a look.

No, shipmate. I'm not even sure the Honda cover would go over it. I like the gbr on display.

They fit over existing covers buddy just longer bolts. on the 2012-2013 you have to cut a groove into the black trim only 4mm or so I done with a dremel . My race fairings fit fine but the oem requires shaving down a fraction or it pushes the fairing out ImageUploadedByTapatalk1372101239.558588.jpg
