Does anyone use one of the stands in the following link to support the Bike inside a panel Van?

I'm thinking obviously the Wheel Chock variety units

    If so pro's & Con's please?

Front Stands | Paddock Stands | Motorcycle | Home | Demon Tweeks

Looking at taking my Bike down to Arthurbikemad for the fitting of some HEL braided hoses, Full ABS Bleed and a HM Quickshifter etc

Can't be arsed to ride there as he's over 200 mile away and I can get around whilst down there if I go in the Van and maybe do a few service jobs whilst that way to make it pay! :D

This one looks good due to it having bolting/screw holes to secure to the Van flooring.

do a search on ebay for them. i bought one on ebay from busters for £50 delivered and its great. that 1 from demon tweeks doesn,t look adjustable like the busters one. i have mine bolted to a 2 ft high work bench i built for doing big jobs. holds the bike really well.

Sealey Motorcycle Front Wheel Chock - Demon Tweeks[/QUOTE]

This is the same one I have just fitted to my trackday trailer it comes with the 4 bolts to fit and also has the extra support bracket for the back section of the wheel it has 3 adjustments for the bracket at the back ,it holds the bike without straps while stationary but you still need to use ratchet straps when in transit.

That's the very same I got myself. Only difference is, I've unbolted the black base and is will bolt straight into my trailer trough. Not used in anger as yet but a bloody handy piece of kit to hold the bike upright so you can get the straps on without the uncertainty of it falling over.

I have two of these, the sealey unit you linked to above is bolted onto my bike lift and holds the bike well, the other is this type Warrior Wheel Chock - Demon Tweeks
It's got bolt holes to fix it to a solid base, I use it just sitting on the floor of the garage so the bike sits up rite rather than taking up more room leaning over on side stand.

The black one even without being bolted to anything holds the bike in place well and is handy as hell, it works well with a rear paddock stand too for most DIY jobs.
It should work just lying it on the floor of the van then just use couple of straps to tie the bars steady so it doesn't move about while driving.

Same here, I use two of the Demon Tweeks Warrior Wheel Chocks for the race bikes and they are superb. All the bikes then need are a ratchet strap from each footrest to the floor and they will not move an inch.

Another vote for the Warrior stand. I bought a couple from M&P when they were on offer at £35 each. They work really well :)
