Black parts turn up most frequently second hand. Having also done a China body kit like Andy did it can work well but also be a real pain when it dont line up 100% Cost of repairing and painting your panels.or other un damaged panels is almost same as China kit unless you get mates rates. Final thing, after 18 months use my China kit was starting to fail with lost of fixings snapping and splitting in places. Both andy and I had to put extra fixings in where side panels meet belly pan as they all snapped or were just to fragile to trust.
Don't touch a thing!!! That is superb!!! Any alterations would be sacrilege to all the work you have done. Ride it
Original lovely not do on the newer blade. Just to say if you have a nice bike them its nice to be seen. I feel the same about cars, if you have something different then make sure your seen or be different.
Er excuse me ! The question was not " Is black boring" ., there was no need for those comments IMO. It is possible to give an opinion without being detrimental to other peoples bikes by saying black looks boring. All that had to be said was something like 'what about X colours or y colours etc. This board is starting to get a little snippy by some people who seem to feel their opinions are not just opinions but facts. There have been quite a few examples of this recently. Yes we are all entitled to our opinions, but being well mannered, having some diplomacy,some respect for people and being nice to people etc does not take too much effort. Sorry to hijack thread but getting tired of people who just seem to want to contentious.
fella i think its all ment in frendly bantter.... i have a black blade..... i have a black blade cause that the way i want it. i prefer the black blade, but i have considered when the if free cash turns up doing a race rep on a second hand set of pannels, for a change if i was to go pick my blade again would i pick a black one again... yes 1st choise. however steak everday does make you want chicken now and again. ... cos we all know the black blade owner is the elite club and the commoners are just the repsol lot.............
I have to agree the forum has had a few bitchy moments recently but I can honestly say I don't think this was ment in the way you have read it. I myself have said alot worse about black, HRC and white blades but its just all in the fun of it. I actually owned a few black bikes but this time round I felt I was ready for something a bit faster

Because the hrc was way too fast.... Mine started as a hrc, and is now disguised in stealth Matt black... You just don't get faster!
