Hi folks, Last night I did my first trackday on my Fireblade. It was absolutely awesome!!!! I've done quite a few now and the first one I did was on an Aprilia Falco (much ignored great bike) and the rest on my Tuono. All at Knockhill. I'd like to think I was able to produce a decent lap on the Aprilia and had great fun doing so. Well, had a two hour open session at Knockhill and it was actually dry so great start. There's me going out on the Blade to be absolutely blown away by it. It took me almost an hour to get fully used to it. Initially just the shear difference in performance. That bike is way better than I am no doubt. I had a brand new set of Dunlop GP Racers on with the 190/55 profile rear. They were fantastic, amazing levels of grip, fast turn in and super stable. Absolutely the best fun you can have with your clothes! Will see if I can get a wee pic of the bike in action.
