I purchased it around a month ago. I have done following to it ohlins fork springs new seaks and oil. braided front lines. new front pads. new clean tank new pump gasket and bolts. fairings painted orange ( will be back on bike this week) crash bungs. rear subframe removed (bolt on comes with bike) quick release fuel cap (will be here any day) new plugs filter and service oil and filter. bike has a blue flame exhaust . carbs balanced and synched. bike has £££££ spent on it last year it had new clutch and basket and other things done to it. bike is a 1998 v5 is coming back in my name should expect bak this week. I havent had chance to do a track day on it yet but i have gave it a little running and pulls strong. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUjN7wto7fY Engine and gearbox fine. clocks showing 17,000 i think I will get some more pics up when fairings come back just having some white number boards put on them. spare wheels with a good set of wets . v5 will be back within this week i hope so so not available for about a week id like this too be back before selling . Thats not a lot of money for all the work you have done to it! Im very tempted but I dont think it will fit in my garage Ill stick with my gixxer k3. Which R6 did you get? What are they like for trackday fun?
I have got a 2000 model as I want to run in the modern classic hottrax racing so it has to be pre injection . Only really ridden 1000s on track so a 600 will take a bit of getting used too but ill let you know lol cheers
