Well had a great 4 sessions today nice and dry then the heavens opened. So it's pissing down everyone leaving I decided to put my wets on and go out for one session as I have never been out on them. Feeeeecking awesome just about sums it up my mate was behind me with load of others on wets, and he said I just went of like a rocket so much confidence yes I backed of on corners slightly but for future track days the rain will not ruin your day as long as you have the right tyres,I think having wets in this country is a must . Thanks to Scooby for the offer of track instruction but he soon bugged of when it started to piss down, but will hopefully take you up next time you are there. Also great to meet up with all the lads a good laugh as always .
sorry i didn;t say bye,got side tracked and then got a flyer.yea was a shame after lunch and tbh i couldn't be arsed to stick my wets in,glad you enjoyed it though,wet riding really is good fun,and gives you so much more confidence in the bike,and what can be done in the wet. shame we didn't get out for a session,but think i'll be doing some instructing again on the 31st. great to meet Dave+FB,bring on the next one. oh and on a plus note,i managed my fastest lap round there today aswell
Your were right mate it was was funny I think I was the only person in my session that was enjoying it and ON IT I got out first and no one passed me had you still been there would of been a different story .
That's wicked mate. Can't wait to try wets.... We went out on road tyres at snett one wet morning, two lads on wets on r6's were giving it some and tbh I couldnt keep up, damp and dry was another story but the lean angle them boys put on wets was impressive! Need some spare wheels!!!
