Well! What great pics again Barney! Pity you didn't get one of me going down...........Yes you heard right, the front tucked on me going down into Cascades. All credit to the lads for saying nothing 'til I made a post.
Everything was going well, had a camera on the front off Barney and had been following Andy then Jason to get some footage of them. Felt like I was flying, knee down everywhere, but certainly not on the edge. Overtook Jason to catch back up with Andy and down she goes. It must have been fast 'cos I had time to think to myself while I was cart-wheeling through the gravel! It went on for ages! Eventually I came to a stop and thankfully nothing broken, just battered and bruised.
The most annoying part is, I've absolutely no idea why I went down! Spoke to the marshall and he said it was odd that five people had gone down there but he couldn't see anything on track. Barney has the footage on the GoPro I was using so maybe that might explain why.
Oh well! I suppose if you're not pushing you're not trying so I have no complaints, it would have happened eventually anyway. Bikes not too bad, need a few bits ready for 31st July and my very good mate Andy is sorting it for me.
Shame really, I was itching to try out my new wets! :)

Truly truly gutted to hear of your off Steve, since our earlier phone conversation I've contacted no limits and down graded you to novice with me and young tykes mate for the 31st.
Jokes aside though, I'm shocked, you of all the many peeps ive had the pleasure of riding with was the last person I thought would bum out. shows it can happen to the best of us.
But by the sounds of it, you was having a fantastic time right up to that 'moment'
A masive up to Andy for diving straight in and helping sort the bike too, this is testament to the relationship we have built here.

With all that bollox out the way,
Man up, we're entertaining the southerners in 28 days :D
