Am sure those stories about surgeons amd male nurses putting their todgers into the mouth of tonsillectomy patients are just a myth, and that the funny taste in your mouth after you come round is from the anaesthetic
F*ckers Well the tonsils came out on Wednesday morning. I'm not feeling too bad at the moment. Up one minute down the next and necking an alarming cocktail of painkillers but that's to be expected. I'm crap at sitting around on my arse, unfortunately, so I knew I'd hate the convalesence

Sorry, Ken It's actually feeling more rubbish now than it did a couple of days after it was done. I was warned that might happen around day 6 / 7. No biggy though. Just keep taking the pain meds and it'll soon be over. At least I picked a nice time of year to be off work.
