If somebody could make a Taylormade style can from something durable (stainless) with similar outer appearance, without making ears bleed and without losing power, I think they'd be onto a real winner. A flawed beauty.

I have a full R77 on my road bike and with a custom map on the PCV it put the power up by 10bhp at the top and is lovely everywhere else. Recommended and not too loud with the baffle in if you need that (but not had it measured)

It's super loud, I love it!!!!

Only problem is that my big feet clip it all the time when shifting around on the foot pegs... Must get gold rearsets ASAP =-)

Me too! but I must confess to owning an r77 with the baffle still in the box! Like the look of the TM but i'm the wrong side of 40 to have even more noise - and neighbours that are the wrong side of Downton!! Now I'm waiting for the fans to strike me down!! :p

    Thought I'd add to this.

Contacted Rich at Austin Racing the other day. Plans are afoot to produce a GP2 silencer like the Racefit Growler / Black exhaust next year. Choose from 98 - 108db all achieved by different baffles. Finally an exhaust that'll look great but won't come with the stupidly loud volume if you don't want it or want to get on track.

Without going through this whole thread, does a Yoshimura R77 purchased in 2010 for a 2010 blade, would this fit a 2012 blade ?
Have one on my current bike, but looking to see if it possible to change it over to my new one that I get next week.
    Thanks in advance.

I have also sent an email to Yoshimura technical as well to ask.
The guy at Honda dealership said "no, because it is a different part number".
    I wasn't convinced.

    It's ok.
Just been speaking to a Honda mechanic direct, and the Yoshi will fit.
So just going to decline the Akrapovic on the new bike and have the Yoshi changed over to it.

Hi to all. New here today having just bought a repsol blade in march of this year. It's a new 2013 model abs and I have just put a ackrapovic end can on it yesterday. It's the one without the cat on it and has done away with the servo cable. I have read through all these posts and now I am questioning myself. I have left the baffle out and it seems to run fine and a great sound BUT does anyone no if this alters the fuelling on this model. Sorry if this post is in the wrong place in advance.
