Worth noting you don't actually have to live in Kent to become a member- Lambeth from, er Lambeth (but obviously the posh part) has recently joined after showing incredible talent in choice of food whilst in Brighton. No need to be bitter, Dave. To relay to the others what went down. The waiter came over and I said 'Calamari, please' Whereupon Dave blurted out 'Left field!' Then Jimbo said 'I'll have the scampi, please' which caused Dave to shout 'Wild card!' and really threw his meal selection. Settled for some rancid whitebait. I still giggle about the episode. 'Wild card!' Hahahahahaha
Never has fish supper been so poorly selected.... Got to stick to your guns and never be thrown off the scent by a Jedi mind trick waiter clearly in need of reducing his stock of whitebait. School boy of the highest order.
What actually happend was the waiter tricked me with the alleged medley menu choice, on home turf as well. I was so bored with what was presented to me I started to take loads of pictures of the bikes and lambeth's shoulder!
