Nice one mate looks lovely. I too will be going down the yoshimura route for my new bikes exhaust aswell
No James, I went for a ride around Rutland today but black leathers an 30 degrees heat was not pleasant, I will be out but not all day, I might ride out to willy woods and meet you all there, if you know roughly when you will get to that point?
Sounds great with a quick shifter too. I went down the baffle in route, but I tried it without the baffle in, too loud for my neighbours. Be warned the retaining screw is all too easy to fall off and plant itself into the gap between the inner and outer shell of the exhaust, which means exhaust off to shake it out. When this happened to me I found a 2nd bolt that the dealer had obviously lost in there like me, but he just left it in ....
I agree that they are loud, and they are loudest at idle and low RPMs just when you dont want to upset the neighbors or plod, but quite OK when the revs get up a bit. The "low volume insert " make it sound like a fart in a tin can, and cuts back the performance too IMO. I am sure they could have done a better job on the insert, I am going to make a better one (I hope). Great looking pipe though.
