Reading through all the documents I got when I bought the bike I found the import papers.
I remember the guy I bought the bike from, (who bought it brand new) mentioning import, but never gave it much thought.
I don't suppose it makes much difference, it was serviced by the local Honda stealership, and got a recall item fixed without issue.
But at least the import paperwork supports the bikes history, for example, on the certificate of conformity is gives the colour as Repsol :).
Plus there is a whole host of data, noise, weight, emissions etc that you dont find in the handbook :)

Parallel Import, that rings a bell...I'm sure thats what he said.
The guy is legit and I know his father so I confident the bike is all above board, possibly said something about bike was cheaper to buy new over there and import than from Honda UK
