Been bought a trackday tomorrow at snetterton for my birthday couple weeks ago, anyone know if they still have fuel on site ? Will be removing road gear ( mirrors tail tidy n plate etc) so wont be able to pop up to local fuel station on A11 ( could send the wife with a few plastic cans !!)

Yes mate they have a fuel pump there but it's not the cheapest... Think motorway service station prices. Get yourself a jerry can and tank her before you get there and I find that's even enough to get me the 70miles home after ;)

Had great day, fuel no probably cost £2 more than normal to fill up that's all, did 3 sessions then fuel light came on, refilled, 3 more sessions light came on again result !!

Not had bike for 7 years so was a bit disappointed with lapping at 2:24 so now have set of Pirelli Diablo supercorsas, quick action throttle, puig rearsets on the way n space reserved at A&E hahaha

    Top stuff! :D

I'm looking to bring my time down from 2:17 in novice group on worn out 2CT's. got a fresh set and need to beat my friends 2:10s on a kwakka 636 with supercorsas so maybe I'm asking a lot from the 2CT's!?! Will be getting the quickshifter soon and susp setup reminds me I need rearsets too lol

Yep, the reps old didn't make to the finish line

Seriously though 1 x repsol cbr1k, 1x brand new set repsol leathers n boots n lid all written off after a 150mph off at end of start/finish Straight. Chap wore a hole in his hand, gutted for him bike was a mess, hope his hand was his only injury

I'm doing the day on 22nd in fast group as inters was all booked up but everyone said that's the group to be in with my lap times so will see how it goes.....

Hopefully I might see you still in one piece at the end of the day if my luck can hold for once!

Did he not turn in then or have a moment trying to brake?? I role in at around 120mph to first corner and could imagine a lot quicker is possible without being a BSB rider...

Yeah weird place for an off unless the poor fella just tipped in too late :(

Always better to be following faster riders round but within your comfort zone of course. I studied the Peter Hickman YouTube clip of Snetty religiously for 2wks before I last went :D

Last lap of last session r1 crashed coming into the pits 100 yards from the garages, mind you I'd probably do that to an r1 n then buy something good like a CBR !!

I was there earlier in the year and yes they have petrol on site. But it is high octane rating, 98 I think. Meant to ask at the time is this ok for my 2012, as it says 95 on the tank?

I studied the on board from my last session, procam £15 well spent, now realised I can brake later and harder and the QA throttle should help as I have limited movement in my wrists, can't wait to get back now, even popped in to look at track on way home from work !!

Yep will be fine, always use 97 anyway, guy at pump said don't use the 100 octane race fuel they have as it'll wreck your valves after 3 laps, just think of those 1st 2 laps though !!! bleeding awesome
