Riding back home thoroughly the centre of reading tonight, have just got the green light and pull away at a 4 way junction when a idiot driving a mondeo thinks he's above the law and runs a red light from the right! I had to swerve pretty quick and hit the horn but the ford focus to my right got even more of a shock as the prick realising what he's done from me sounding my horn stops directly in front of the ford focus! It's days like this when I look back at the bikes that the army used to use and think they might come in handy today!
It's terrifying when that happens, isn't it? I like to have a bit of a look before setting off from lights at a junction but I run the risk of irritating car drivers behind me. Ho hum.
I find they usually blame you quite aggressively when this happens like.... "Look what you made me do!!" I filmed my journey home out of London last week and it might as well be a hazard perception video from the amount of times someone pulled out, jumped a light, swerved lanes without signalling etc
So Lambeth is the cause of major congestion in Central London, by going walkabout to check the coast is clear on a green light, no wonder my commute is taking longer
