Still trying to get comfy (locked in) on this bike; the HRC tank shape helped a lot but the standard footrests are just too far forward. Rearsets maybe the answer but I would end up paying around £400 for a quality set & even then the adjustment is limited on the brake lever side due to the cabs. Jackup plates may work; had them in the past on other bikes but they are not made for this model Blade. I came across these recently; a guy I know had fitted them to lower his footpegs. I decided to buy them & fitted them today; they are made by Gilles Tooling & cost £85. Mine are currently set around 23mm back & 16mm up which feels much better. I was worried about reaching the levers but it makes no difference; must be like having smaller feet. Pics
I was looking at these too but I worried about the reach to the brake and shifter in the furthest back position.

The ones I have were supplied with a spacer with 30mm or 40mm offset, but the actual offset differs further depending how you orientate the footpegs; Gilles also supply a 20mm spacer. I set mine in the 30mm position & last night went out with tools to make adjustments if neccessary; I had the same concerns as you. The brake lever was fine so I left it; couldnt tell the difference. The gear lever felt a bit far away & high; I was having to move my foot up a long way to change gear. I lowered the lever approx 8mm (guessed it) & it felt just right; after riding for a few minutes all seemed perfectly normal & the postion set me over the tank better as hoped. I tend to ride with my feet on tip toes almost so am used to moving my feet forward to find the levers - my size 8's have no problem with the increased span. I will be lowering them a liitle next time out to see how it feels; this will set them a little further back but I want to try it; will probably need to raise the gear lever to compensate.
